Description

DEALING WITH DEMENTIA:

This free, in-person program is open to all family and friends who provide care to those with Dementia (such as Alzheimer's, Lewy Body, FrontoTemporal Degeneration, and others).
  • Caregivers are not able to bring those they care for to class with them. Thank you for your understanding.
The goal for the Dealing with Dementia Caregiver Workshop is for Alzheimer's and dementia family caregivers to:
  • Gain a better understanding of dementia
  • Utilize strategies to effectively manage dementia behaviors
  • Develop habits of stress management and self-care
Caregivers will receive a copy of the new Dealing with Dementia Guide at no cost. This guide provides information and solutions to problems caregivers face every day. Caregivers learn to use the guide effectively as they face dementia-related concerns with those they care for.  Participants will receive their workbook during their class session.

Registration ends 3 days before the event. If you have questions you need answered before you commit to registration, please call Kristi at 435-673-3548
