Description
Retirement (and aging in general) doesn't have to mean sitting in front of the T.V. watching re-runs or withering away in a nursing home. In fact, those stereotypes are not accurate for the vast majority of older adults. But making our older years action-packed and meaningful requires thought and planning. Teresa Burrell, former teacher, turned attorney, turned author will address how to craft a "third chapter" of life to make it the best stage of life.

Teresa was born in Minnesota but her family moved to Southern California when she was a child, where she attending High School and college. She began her career as a teacher, working with students of diverse backgrounds and needs. After 12 years of teaching, Teresa decided to pursue a career as an attorney. Upon graduating from the University of San Diego, she maintained a private practice for 12 years. Now in semi-retirement, Teresa switched gears again and started writing. She has now written 15 novels and 3 children's books, many based on actual legal cases.
