Description
Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Passover with your kids that’s both fun and hands-on? Join Mitzvah Makers for a warm, family-friendly mitzvah as we prepare Passover holiday gift bags for our community.

As Passover approaches and we celebrate the story of freedom and renewal, we come together to support JFCS clients and community members so they can mark the holiday with dignity and joy. Families will assemble bags filled with Passover essentials and treats for individuals, families, and seniors across the Bay Area.

This intergenerational mitzvah project brings Jewish values to life, especially Gemilut Chasadim (acts of loving-kindness), and helps children see how small actions can make a real difference.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The event will take place at our San Mateo office.

Please complete the registration form and list all family members planning to attend.

We look forward to celebrating the spirit of Passover with you!

A donation of $18 – $36 to support the JFCS Foodbank is suggested. Click here to donate.

JFCS Mitzvah Makers is a Jewish family volunteer and service-learning program that introduces children to the value of Gemilut Chasadim and helps nurture a lifelong commitment to giving back and community care.
