We know finding affordable housing in San Francisco is difficult at best. Learn about San Francisco Senior Housing and Below-Market-Rate (BMR) Housing options available through the SF Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development.

- eligibility requirements to help you determine if you can apply for SF's Senior or BMR housing
- how to find housing opportunities and the application process through SF's DAHLIA online housing portal and other opportunities (click here to see openhouse's list of Affordable and Low-Income Housing Opportunities for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities which includes type of unit, rent, eligibility & minimum income requirements, amenities & how to apply).
- demonstrate how to fill out an application for a current senior housing lottery (click here to learn about a lottery for 7 units at Alexander Residence. Application deadline 5/7.)
- how a housing counselor can help you with the application process.

Presenter: Joy Ng is a Housing Caseworker at Bayanihan Equity Center (BEC), and has six years of experience assisting seniors and adults with disabilities with housing applications, housing interviews, evictions, advocacy for tenants rights, and other concerns.
