Join us for a 60-minute session focused on practical, research-based nutrition strategies that support healthy aging. Drawing from Stanford’s Introduction to Food & Health course and public health resources from Tufts University and other leading institutions, this session translates science into simple, everyday habits.
We’ll explore:
- What a balanced “healthy plate” really looks like
- Why protein becomes more important for maintaining muscle and strength as we age
- How to read food labels without confusion
- Small, realistic nutrition shifts that fit different lifestyles
This session will be led by NEXT Village volunteer Praniti Shettiwar and is designed to provide general nutrition education (not medical advice), with time for questions.
Participation is limited to 10 attendees (with Members given priority) to keep the session interactive.
