Description
The practice of meditation is a sure pathway to experiencing a deeper sense of peace in life, a greater sense of well-being, and an expanded sense of compassion and connection with others. In this class we will learn about and practice various types of meditation techniques, including silent and guided meditation, movement and mantra meditation, mindful breathing, and more. Whether you are a first-time meditator, you are seeking to deepen your daily practice, or you are just curious about what meditation is, this weekly gathering is a safe, uplifting container for the exploration and practice of the ancient spiritual art of meditation.

Instructor: Catherine Hampton has been practicing meditation for over twenty years. Through the Centers For Spiritual Living, she has taught meditation classes and facilitated meditation circles and groups. Catherine is versed in a variety of meditation techniques and looks forward to sharing the art and practice of mindful meditation with the NEXT Village community weekly on Friday.
