Description

Please note: For this event, a staff member may need to reach out for more information before you are confirmed to attend. Watch for an email!

Join us for a walking-in-place, cardio, and strength workout designed to engage your entire body.

Instructor Brighton Miller will lead participants in low-impact cardio exercises to boost energy, stimulate the mind, and increase circulation. Expect some balance work and gentle strength training as well, all in a private outdoor setting shaded from the sun.

Suitable for all levels of fitness and mobility, Brighton’s program can be performed in a chair, on your feet, or a combination of both. You decide what works for you! Each session is stand-alone, so come once a month or every week – whatever fits your schedule.

Please seek clearance from your health provider. Attendee assumes all risk from participation.

You must register to attend. Space is limited. NEXT members receive priority.

About Brighton: Brighton has worked as an ACE personal and group fitness trainer in San Francisco. Using the environment as the gym, she led group classes on the sand at Baker Beach and the batteries on the bluff by the Golden Gate Bridge. Wanting to help her clients fuel their bodies healthfully, she got her certification in holistic nutrition, with an emphasis on plant-based nutrition for athletes, at Bauman College in Berkeley and added nutrition coaching for her clients. In 2015, she opened Nourish Cafe, a healthy plant-based cafe in San Francisco, and operated two locations for 10 years. Brighton's goals are to support others, building confidence and strength for a long and healthy life.
