Description
Join other intermediate to fluent French speakers for a weekly in person conversation workshop to speak and practice French. Conversation topics for the week are provided in advance. If you aren't comfortable speaking extemporaneously in French, check the weekly topics (usually emailed and posted on the online French calendar listing on Monday) so you can prepare in advance or be ready to talk about something else that's on your mind.
This week's topic: tell us about any holiday traditions you keep up and whether they have changed over time, or choose your own topic. Please try to ask questions of each speaker to keep the conversation flowing.

This weekly French Conversation Group usually meets weekly Thursdays at 4PM, except holidays. Group will not meet on 12/25-Christmas or 1/1-New Year's Day.
Location is usually in North Beach near Washington Square Park. Check reminder email the day before to confirm address & directions each week.
This conversation group is free. NEXT Village membership is not required. Advance registration is required. Limited to 7 people due to apartment capacity.
Note: this is a conversation group (not a class) for people with sufficient language skills to have a conversation in French. If you are a beginner or not yet able to converse readily in French, please seek out a class rather than this group since the group endeavors to converse in French the whole time.
