German Stammtisch - Weekly Conversation Group (Polk St @ Vallejo)

Join other German speakers for casual conversation at a local cafe to speak and practice German. This group is a great way to refresh and use your German.   

Starter topic this week: food, recipes, restaurants.

This group meets weekly 2-3PM on Tuesdays (except holidays) in the Russian Hill area. 

Address on Polk St near Vallejo will be sent by email to registrants.

We ask that everyone who attends purchase a coffee/tea, or other drink or bite to support the cafe while we use the table. They offer coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer ($7), wine (from $11), pastries (about $5), bagels and sandwiches (from $11), and more.

Note: this is a conversation group, not a class. Basic conversational abilities are requested as the group endeavors to speak in German throughout (although if someone needs help with words or phrases, Anke and the group are more than willing to help).
