Description
ABOUT IMPROV: Improvisational Theatre is made up of games, exercises and techniques to create monologues and scenes. These monthly sessions are open to everyone, no prior experience necessary. Have fun with others and make stuff up based on your background and imagination! Take the opportunity to exercise your creative muscles! Doing Improv is a very positive, non-judgmental experience and you will laugh and have lots of fun too! You'll be surprised at what you can do!

Louise offers 2-3 Improv classes each month. Register on this page for her monthly IN PERSON Improv classes (usually held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month) in Aquatic Park area. See below for other Improv classes and dates. You can register from the NEXT Village event calendar to join in the fun. Online registration typically opens a month before the class.

Instructor: Louise Vogel was the Company Manager/Assistant Director and member of the Aquatic Park Players at the SF Aquatic Park Sr. Center for 5 years. Louise graduated with a BA in Speech and Theatre and has had experience in Children's Theatre, Mime, Acting and Improvization. She studied Improvization with Sue Walden and Joya Cory in SF. She has taught Improv Theatre at the Aquatic Park Sr. Center offers free monthly Improv classes on Zoom and in-person.
