The SF Evening Rotary "One Hard Thing" event is back by popular demand! For one day, Rotary volunteers will be available to help NEXT Village members take care of "one hard thing" or several hard things, at home. Do you need help changing smoke detector batteries, flashlight batteries, flipping your mattress, unjamming your printer, hanging photos, washing windows, moving heavy furniture, or something similar? Then this event is for you!

You will be assigned a time slot, and volunteers will come to your home for up to 1 hour to help with things around your house. You will need to let us know what services you will be requesting ahead of time so we can be sure to send volunteers that will be able to complete the requests.

The fine print:

You must be a NEXT Village member to participate
There is a 15 member limit and the deadline is March 7th, so register ASAP!
You must live in Northeast SF (North Beach, Telegraph Hill, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, Chinatown, Marina, Cow Hollow, Golden Gateway, etc. )
You must be vaccinated to participate and agree to wear a mask
Once your registration has been approved, you will receive an event confirmation and staff will reach out to you to confirm your task list
Volunteers will contact you shortly before arrival so that you will know they'll be there soon
