Event Description: Join us for a small group tour of the Frank Residences on the SF Campus for Jewish Living. This is the first of what we hope will be a series of visits to senior communities in and around San Francisco so that people can learn about different communities to see what might be a match for their interests, needs and budget.
For those interested in touring the new Frank Residences, Staci Chang, who presented Senior Housing 101 Zoom to our group on Jan 17, invites you to experience the campus for yourself. This Frank Residences tour will provide a glimpse at what modern-day senior living is like. The tour will include the amenities and programs area, sample apartment for independent and assisted living as well as a look into the memory care sections. Frank Residences is a part of the Jewish Home that also offers the short-term rehab and long-term care services.

As one of the leading senior services and healthcare organizations in Northern California, San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living, (known to many as “the Jewish Home”) provides a continuum of care and social services to enable seniors to age well and live their fullest lives. From the Jewish Home, founded in 1871, to our new Frank Residences and Byer Square, opened in 2020, we serve more than 2,500 people each year at our nine-acre San Francisco campus. Honoring Jewish traditions and embracing innovation, we are committed to enriching the quality of life of older adults of all faiths.
Note: We recognize that private pay senior communities in SF may not be within everyone's budget and that finding affordable housing in San Francisco is not easy. If you are interested in affordable or below market rate housing options, we recommend you contact Joy Ng, Housing Caseworker at the nonprofit Bayanihan Equity Center, (415) 255-2347, joy.ng@sfbec.org to learn how a free housing counselor can help you find opportunities and even help you apply through San Francisco Mayor's Office website for SF affordable housing: https://housing.sfgov.org/ -- sample current opportunity includes a lottery for 91 units at Kapuso, near Geneva Ave & I-280, where a studio starts at $883/month if your income is below $3233/month. Application deadline 3/2.)
