Join us on a Zoom trip back in time for part two of an historical restaurant romp exploring some of San Francisco's iconic Italian restaurants from the past. Some are still thriving today, others live on only in people's vivid memories of good times, good food, and good company. 

North Beach is a vibrant community unto itself that hums with activity of restaurants, bakeries and caffès that belong to San Francisco’s past and future culinary heritage.  Over the years, North Beach has continued to reinvent itself through foods.  Today, we highlight legacy establishments, some of whom have passed into the margins while others attract a new generation of diners with a wink of the eye from their ancestors' generations who savored hearty dishes and threw caution to the wind about calories.
