Description
We're headed to Yerba Buena Gardens Festival to enjoy an afternoon uke-apalooza! This program showcases the region’s foremost ukulele talent and includes a community strum-and-sing-along (bring your uke if you have one!) and special hula performances.
Join fans of the diminutive instrument for an afternoon of music and fun!
Whether you play or just enjoy hearing the ukulele being strummed by trained fingers, come join us for this ukadacious celebration creating an island of aloha in the bustling city! We're reserving seats for seniors and those with disabilities, so please make sure to register ASAP so we reserve enough chairs.

Please note:
- Register in advance so we can reserve adequate seating. Event registration closes day before the event. Late registrants may have to find their own seat or may need to sit on the grass.
- After you register, you'll receive a confirmation email with location details. Event will be near Mission & 4th Street, convenient to MUNI, BART, and public parking garages.
- By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you are fully Covid vaccinated and have received at least one booster, and that you won't hold NEXT Village liable for things that hopefully won't, but could happen, when you are attend a public event.
- Rain or inclement weather cancels. Check your email the morning of the event if weather looks questionable to see if event is still on or for last minute instructions.
- This event is suitable for people with walkers and wheelchairs. There is a paved path to the seating area, however the seats and wheelchair seating area is on the grass.
