Stress Busters workshops are open to everyone to help us learn how to better respond to any situation in a helpful way instead of getting upset.
We all have stress - that uneasy feeling we get when we're upset, whether it's because we're angry, worried, depressed or disturbed for other reasons. Stress is our reaction to big problems, like dealing with a family crisis, or to smaller everyday problems, like a crowded bus and no one offering you a seat. Stress is often seen as external circumstances that disturb us and make us miserable.
Through Stress Busters, we recognize that stress is actually the result of our own reactions. It is how we view a situation and how we choose to react that gives us stress. We cannot control our external circumstances; however, we can use Stress Busters tools to control ourselves and the choices we make so we calmly respond to situations in an appropriate, helpful way.
If anything is stressing you out, we invite you to join us. Each session provides a skit to help us more easily visualize a cause of stress, and then provides simple yet highly effective steps to help you handle stress, make better decisions and live your life better.
If you haven't tried Stress Busters yet, join us to learn how to reduce your stress and handle whatever life throws at you!
