About the Company
Mon Ami builds modern technology for the growing sector of aging and disability services. We’re a women-founded, mission-driven startup tackling the $100B+ social services market to enable the delivery of life-sustaining services for older adults and people with disabilities.
Our customers are large public agencies (think state departments on aging, or state departments of health) across the country who coordinate complex networks of care, but who are currently wasting 60% of their time on administrative paperwork that can be digitized and automated. Mon Ami’s cloud-based solutions allow them to streamline workflow, increase capacity to serve more people, and track outcomes. We have raised over $15M in capital and are backed by leading VCs in healthcare and SaaS, including Ulu Ventures, Maverick Ventures, Pivotal Ventures, and others.
About the Role
At Mon Ami, the Solutions Architecture (SA) team helps coordinate statewide implementation projects that require collaboration between product, engineering, data, and customer success. Using product knowledge, technical skills, and an intimate understanding of customer requirements, the team supports product configuration and data migrations end-to-end.
The Solutions Support Specialist partners closely with Solutions Architects to keep this work moving. You’ll take on the hands-on, detail-intensive tasks that make implementations succeed: designing and maintaining product configurations, building AI tools to ensure accuracy and improve efficiency, validating and transforming data in spreadsheets, performing quality assurance, and keeping technical documentation clear and current. It’s a great fit for someone who is meticulous, proactive, and comfortable learning technical tools on the job.
This role is ideal for someone who wants exposure to enterprise SaaS implementations, public-sector customers, and cross-functional product work — and who cares about the mission of improving the lives of older and disabled adults.
Primary Responsibilities
- Configure forms using YAML: Build and maintain product forms and configurations using YAML code, according to defined requirements and best practices (YAML can be learned on the job).
- Help build tools and processes: Help design new ways of working using AI to reduce manual tasks and improve accuracy of configurations and data migrations.
- QA: Perform quality assurance on configurations and migrations — validating accuracy, catching edge cases and inconsistencies, and partnering with Solutions Architects to resolve issues.
- Support successful customer launches: Work with cross-functional teams and customers to capture requirements, gather QA feedback, and keep implementation work on track through launch.
About You
- Exceptional attention to detail — you catch issues before they reach a customer and take pride in accurate, well-structured work.
- Proactive and organized, comfortable managing multiple streams of work and asking clarifying questions when requirements are unclear.
- Some familiarity with basic coding concepts; you’re comfortable working in technical tools and eager to learn (experience with YAML is a bonus, but can be learned on the job).
- Enthusiastic about integrating AI tools into daily workflows to enhance efficiency and support technical tasks (experience with Claude Code a plus).
- Proficient with spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, and validation checks.
- Some experience working with customers to understand requirements and gather QA feedback.
- Able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- (Ideally) Genuine interest in Mon Ami’s mission and the aging, disability, or social services field.
- (Ideally) Exposure to enterprise SaaS products, customer onboarding, or implementation work.
Our Culture
We value high performance and high enjoyment. In addition to having the privilege of working hard on a mission we believe in, we get to do it on a team of people we genuinely respect and like being around. Our hybrid/remote company of ~40 gets together in person 2x per year for team-proposed activities like board games, cooking competitions, and time in nature. In between those retreats, we make time for 1-1 connections across the company. We have a flat hierarchy: ideas for innovation that come from our interns make it into the hands of our users. Founded by two women of color, we know diversity in our team leads to higher quality decisions, so we continually invest in recruiting from under-represented groups and maintaining an inclusive environment.
Benefits
- Health insurance, 15 days PTO (20 days after year two), and sick leave.
- 401K, disability insurance, FSA, and HSA.
- Generous paid family leave.
- The opportunity to do work that matters with a team that treats one another with respect and kindness.
